Note:

The Projector is in STANDBY mode and the Lamps

are

not

illuminated. You can Login to the Projectionist

Terminal.

You

must

Login to the SMS Controller to Initialize the

Cavity Security System and reload the KDM(s)
appropriate to the DCP content present on the RAID.

Shutdown

While the Auditorium Unit can be transitioned directly
from the Operational state to Shutdown it is recommended
that you first stop the current presentation and place the
system in STANDBY from the Projector Control screen
and then Logout.

Note:

Executing Shutdown results in all KDMs previously

imported for the DCPs being deleted. The KDMs
associated with encrypted DCPs must be imported again
using the SMS Controller before presentation is possible.

The Shutdown process takes some minutes due to the
sequenced shutdown process required for the RAID and
the Media Block which is followed by a Shutdown of the
SMS Server. During this time fans in the system will
continue to run to insure cooldown of the various
subsystems.

Caution:

Even though the shutdown process has

completed DO NOT remove MAINS (A/C) Power from
the system for a period of 30 minutes to allow for proper
cooling of the Lamp and system components.

Prior to executing a Shutdown please logout.

To Shutdown the
Auditorium Unit, press the

Power ON/OFF

button on

the enclosure. confirmation
message appears warning
you that all KDM will be
deleted and requires your confirmation to continue. Tap

YES

to continue or

NO

to abandon the shutdown of the

Auditorium Unit.

The Shutdown process begins, the Status Indicator is
flashing GREEN and a Progress message appears. The
RAID enters its shutdown sequence and then the Media
Block will shutdown. Finally, the SMS Server will execute
its shutdown sequence. When the Shutdown process is
complete the Status Indicator is dark (OFF), the Power
ON/OFF button is flashing GREEN and the
Welcome/Login screen is displayed on the Projectionist
Terminal.
