Actions when the operation is interrupted
If “>[W] RQ CL TAPE” or “
*
C” appears on the LCD panel

Open the door of the DMS-B9.

Insert the correct type of cleaning tape in the tape streamer manually.
After cleaning is completed, the tape is automatically ejected.

Remove the cleaning tape.

Remove the previously ejected tape from the bin, and insert it in the
tape streamer.

Close the door.
If “>[W] RQ FM TAPE” or “
*
F” appears on the LCD panel

Open the door of the DMS-B9.

Remove the cleaning tape manually if it is placed in a tape slot of the
tape streamer.

Remove the previously ejected tape from the bin, and insert it in the
tape streamer.

Close the door.
SCSI Operation during cleaning
If the DMS-B9 receives the SCSI command during a cleaning operation, it
returns “Not ready.”
Error messages
If an error is detected during a cleaning operation, the DMS-B9 displays an
error code as in normal operation, then terminates the cleaning operation.
