ID switch
This sets the SCSI ID of this unit.
Before changing the SCSI ID address setting, be sure
that the POWER switch of this unit is in the OFF
position, then use a slender flat-bladed screwdriver to
turn the switch.
The SCSI ID can be set to any value from 0 to 15.
Switch positions A to F correspond to the following ID
values.

Set the address so that there is no conflict with other
SCSI devices connected to the host computer. The
new setting takes effect when the unit is powered on.

TO TAPE STREAMER connector (D-sub 25-
pin)
This is used for communications between this unit and
the tape streamer. Connect to the tape streamer using
the supplied cable.
For details of the connection, see page 11(E).

TO GY-2120 connector (AC outlet cord)
Connect this to the AC IN connector of the GY-2120
series tape streamer.
Note
Under no circumstance connect this cord to any other
device. Such a connection could lead to fire or electric
shock hazards.

Breaker
This trips if an overcurrent flows either in this unit or
in the tape streamer, shutting off the power supply.

REVISION label
For the firmware and hardware revision indication.
Write the firmware revision (Rev.XXX.XX) displayed
in the display window when the system starts up for
the management of the installed firmware.

AC IN connector
Connect to an AC supply, using the optional power
cord.
