Adjustment Procedure:
1 ) Connect the oscilloscope to RP-2 9 board pin

and
confirm that the AFM carrier signal ( 1 5 MHz) is 1 20
±20 mVp-p . ( Fig. 3 - 1 9)
2 ) Reconnect the oscilloscope t o RP-29 board pin

3 ) Turn RV5 0 1 on the RP-2 9 board and a djust to
10 mVp-p . ( Fig. 3-2 0)

3-5-5. Noise Level Check

Adjustment Procedure:
1 ) Record using CCD-M8 .
2 ) Play back the recorded portion o n playback equipment
(EV-A3 00, EV-S700, etc. ).
3) Measure the playback equipment AUDIO OUT level
for m ore than 3 seconds and confirm that it is below
- 5 2 dB.
3-5-6. Frequency Response Check
1 ) Input 400 Hz, 1 kHz, 1 5 0 Hz, 20 kHz (all -66 d B )
signals to M I C connector pin

(white) i n order for
1 0 seconds each and record on tape.
2 ) Play back the recorded portion o n playback equipment
(EV-A300, EV-S700, etc. ).
3 ) Measure the playback equipment AUDIO OUT level
and confirm that the 1 kHz, 1 5 0 Hz and 20 kHz levels
are as follows relative to the 400 Hz level ( - x dB).

2 ) Play back the recorded portion o n playback equipment
(EV-A300, EV-S700, etc.).
3) Confirm that playback equipment AUDIO OUT d is­
tortion is less than 1 %.
