Digital voltmeter: Ql 0 1 collector
Adjustment Procedure:
1 ) Supply 7.0 ±0.5 V from the stable DC power supply to
the power supply contact point spring. (See Fig. 3- 1 )
2 ) Adjust RV l O l for a reading of 5 .00 ±0.05 V .

3-2- 1 . Battery Down Adjustment (MD- 1 0 Board)
Mode:
STOP
Digital voltmeter: Ql 24 emitter
Adjustment Procedure:
1 ) Supply 5 . 7 8 ±0.01 V from the stable DC power supply
to the power supply contact point spring.
2 ) Short IC l O l pin
@)
to GND.
3 ) Turn RV 1 02 counterclockwise and stop at t he point
where Q 1 24 emitter goes from high to low.
Note:
01 24 changes even if RV102 is turned clockwise, but this is
different from the adjustment point, so be sure to turn it coun­
terclockwise.
3-2-2. Tape End Detection Adjustment
Oscilloscope: CH 1 : Q 1 1 8 base (AC range)
CH2 : Q 1 1 9 collector (DC range)
Adjustment Procedure:
1 ) Fix the erase prevention switch so that it is pushed in
with a tape, etc. (See Fig. 3-2)
2 ) Without inserting a cassette, lower the cassette com
partment and load.
3 ) Place the tape end detection filter in the space between
the cassette compartment and the END sensor light
receiving portion. ( See Fig. 3-3)
Note:
The filter consists of a double layer, and should be used as is.
4 ) Place in recording m ode.
Note:
Refer to the section on Camera Adjustment, "1 -5. Precautions"
for the recording mode procedure.
5 ) Set RVOO l fully clockwise.
6) Adjust RVOO l by turning counterclockwise so that
Q 1 1 9 collector voltage (DC level) is more than 2 V and
less than 3 V at the rising point of the light-up pulse.
(See Fig. 3-4)
Note:
If voltage is less than 2 V at this time, END detection will op­
erate and shut-off occurs,
so
in this case, turn RV001 slightly
clockwise, then put into recording mode again and readjust.
7 ) Remove the tape end detection filter and confirm that
Q 1 1 9 collector voltage is less than 0.2 V.
