2-3-27. Reel Table Height Check

Removal
I )
By referring to 2- 1 -

remove cassette arm assembly and LS
cassette compartment assembly.
2)
By referring to 2-3-1. remove reel lock' lever.
3) By referring to 2-3-2. remove pendulum stopper plate.
2. Checking
I )
Confirm by using calipers. etc .. so that the heights from LS
chassis
0 to S reel table reel receptacle plate surface
f)
and from LS chassis to T reel table reel receptacle . plate
surface

should respectively be 6.8 5±0. 1 5 m m .
Note:
However, in the case a washer It =
0.13)
is inserted under the
T
reel table, it becomes

3. I nstallation
I )
B y referring to 2-3-2. install pendulum stopper plate.
2) By referring to 2-3-1 . install reel lock lever assembly.
3) By referring to 2-1 - 1 and 2-1-2, install cassette arm
assembly and LS cassette compartment assembly.

2-3-28. Pinch Stroke Adjustment
1 . Removal
I )
By referring to 2- 1 - 1 and 2-1-2. remove cassette arm
assembly and LS cassette compartment assembly.
2) By referring to 2-3-1. remove reel lock lever assembly.
3) By referring to 2-3-2. remove pendulum stopper plate. ( See
Fig. 2-44)
2. Adjustment
I )
Turn into mode.
2) Loosen 2 screws of pinch arm B assembly 0 , and
move it in the direction of arrow by inserting a flat­
blade screwdriver, etc. into notching
f) .
3) Adjust so that the clearance of Qsection becomes 0.3 mm
to
0.5
mm and tighten 2 screws of pinch arm B assembly
o .
4) Turn
5)
Be sure that there is a clearance between pinch roller 3 and
capstan shaft

when it is turned
3. Installation
I )
B y referring to 2-3-2, install pendulum stopper plate.
2) By referring to 2-3- 1 . install reel lock 'lever assembly.
3) By referring to 2- 1 - 1 and 2-1 -2. install cassette arm
assembly and LS cassette compartment assembly.
