1. Outline

Since the operations

and circuit configuration

of the three

function control panels are identical. the description

below is

confined to the BKH-20 13

which has the most functions.

When the switches on the control

are

or when

are set and a mode is

the corresponding

data are

input to the CPU on the SY-79 board

When the SY-79 CPU

receives the mode command

from the control panel. it sends

back to the control panel the control data for

the LEOs

inside the switches and the display on the control

2.

Control Block

The switches and keys on the control panel are configured

in

the form of a matrix. The row of this

matrix are connected to

the address bus via the address decoder while the column are
connected

to the data bus via the port

When viewed from the

CPU, these switches and keys are

from the FEOOH address to the

address.

When the SY-79

scan program is started, the statuses of the

switches

to the address data output

the CPU

are read into the CPU.
