Exporting the Settings File

It is possible to save the SonicWALL configuration information as a file on your computer, and
retrieve it for later use.

1. Click

Export

in the

Preferences

tab.

2. Click

Export

again to download the settings file. Then choose the location to save the

settings file. The file is named “sonicwall.exp” by default, but it can be renamed.

3. Click

Save

to save the file. This process can take up to a minute.
