Find an error in the system configuration

4.7.1

Execute a diagnostics test

A diagnostic test can be started to support troubleshooting.

Start diagnostics test

Start the

"WiFi Configuration Utility" configuration program. Start the

"SIDEXIS Manager" and click on the "XIOS XG Configuration"
button.

Select the

"Device settings" tab and click the "WiFi configuration"

button.

Open the "Tools" menu and select the entry "Run diagnostic
tests...".

The diagnostic test window opens.

Plug the WiFi interface into the charger before the start of the test.

Explanation of the tests

The tests are explained in brief below:

● "WiFi Charger Connection"

Checks the USB port for the charger.

● "WiFi Interface Serial Number"

Reads out the WiFi interface serial number.

● "WiFi Network Connection"

Checks whether a connection can be established to a wireless
network.

● "Validate IP Address"

Checks the IP address for a wireless network.

● "WiFi Interface Network Ping"

Checks that the PC and the WiFi interface are in the same network.

● "WiFi Monitor Network Discovery"

Checks that you can see the WiFi interface in the "WiFi Interface-
Management" window.

● "WiFi Interface Pairing"

Checks that the PC can connect with the WiFi interface via a
wireless network.
