Apply a vacuum to the fitting at the rear of the shaker. To obtain a good vacuum seal, all SiliCycle MiniBlock positions

need to be covered with a reactor or a counterweight (double shaker). If you do not obtain adequate vacuum suction, check the following:
•  Make sure all the sealing surfaces are clean and free of dust and particles
•  Make sure all connectors / fittings around the shaker top are tight and leak free
•  Make sure valves on all the SiliCycle MiniBlocks are closed properly
•  If required, isolate an individual Reactor by plugging the other positions with the plugs provided
