SiliCycle MiniBlock Reaction Tubes should be closed just prior to the onset of reagent addition. Close the valve mechanism by inserting the Valve Key

into the actuator screw (Figure 24) and turning clockwise until the screw is firmly seated. Do not over tighten. A good guide for the correct amount

of torque is to turn the valve until the left side of the reactor lifts from the work surface.

The SiliCycle MiniBlock is now ready for use.
