The base SiliCycle MiniBlock comes as standard with 48 female luer fittings in the base. SiliCycle MiniBlock can be adapted

to any of four basic configurations:

SiliCycle MiniBlock configurations, together with the reaction tubes and color-coding are depicted in Figure 8.
Glass reaction tubes are provided with a blue Teflon® heat-shrink sleeve at the luer tip. This is to improve sealing against the female luer fitting:

(Figure 4). Insert glass reaction tubes into Pinch-Tube Inserts gently and carefully to avoid snagging or damaging the Teflon® heat-shrink sleeve.
