Open the Conn-R junction box according to
Section 5.2.1.

Press the button (X) to start the recalibration.
The LED (Y) starts flashing in one-second inter-
vals and the adjustment is carried out.

After the adjustment is successful:
The current soiling level is indicated by a flash
code on the LED:
1. The LED goes out for five seconds.
2. The flash code indicates the current soiling
level.
3. A second phase where the LED goes out for
five seconds indicates that the code is finished.
If the LED flashes more than five times, then
the soiling level is too high. The AquaScat S
must be cleaned according to the servicing
schedule.
A: Adjustment flashes in one-
second intervals (max. 35 seconds)
B: Flash code key:
Flashes once = clean
Flashes ten times = heavy soiling,
adjustment no longer possible
Recalibration not successful (flash
code 10):
The LED flashes again in four-second intervals.
In this case, check the points in the following
list one after the other:
Cleanliness of the checking unit?
Correct checking unit used?
Soiled sapphire windows in the instru-
ment?
In this case, clean the windows as de-
scribed in Section 9.4and then repeat the
procedure.
Clean potable water used?
Is the checking unit correctly locked in
place (see step 4)?
Is there still free space between the check-
ing unit and the sapphire window?
