Cleaning the AquaScat S

The following procedure describes how to clean the measuring cell and how to check the
condition of the AquaScat S:

WORKSTEP

ADDITIONAL INFO / IMAGES

Stop the sample flow and remove the AquaS-
cat S from the line according to Section 4.

It is dangerous to remove the pho-

tometer without first emptying the sam-
ple pipe:

The instrument must not be removed from
an unemptied or partly emptied pipe since
this can allow the sample medium to flood
out, causing material damage or personal
injury as a result.

If aextractable assembly is

used, the sample flow must not
be interrupted.

Loosen the two screws (circles) and remove the
cover from the sensor head.

Rinse out the absorber (circles).
