System with multiple PCs using Thinwire Cable
Fit an Ethernet cable T piece (part number 667/7/22609/007) to the UTC TCC and
the Ethernet card on each PC.
Fit an Ethernet cable terminator (part number 667/7/22609/008) to the T piece on
the UTC TCC.
Fit the UTC TCC to PC Ethernet cable (part number 667/7/22609/006) between
the Ethernet cable T pieces at the UTC TCC and the first PC.
Fit PC to PC Ethernet cables (part number 667/7/22609/005) between the
Ethernet cable T pieces at the first and the second PC.
Fit PC to PC Ethernet cables (part number 667/7/22609/005) between the
Ethernet cable T pieces to link up any other PCs in the system.
Fit an Ethernet cable terminator (part number 667/7/22609/008) to the T piece on
the final PC.

System with single or multiple PCs using Twisted Pair Cabling
For a System which uses Twisted Pair (also known as CAT5) cabling an Ethernet
hub is normally used between the UTC Traffic Control Computer (TCC) and the
TC12 PC(s). CAT5 (Twisted Pair) cable is used to connect the TCC to the hub and
to connect the hub to the TC12 PC(s).
2.2.7.3 Modem PCB to BT cable
This cable is only fitted if there is no associated Transformer PCB with the Modem
PCB. Figure 14 shows the cable terminations for connection to the MDF.
The cable is a 10 pair cable (part number 667/1/22654/000) with 8 pairs actually
used. Refer to drawing 667/GA/22654/000 for wire colours etc. The cable
connects to PL3 on the modem PCB.
BT cable tool, part number 667/7/22648/000 is used when installing the cable.
Cable termination depends on whether the modem is connected in 2 or 4 wire
mode:
