Perform the following steps:
● PC stations on the system bus
Check or assign addresses of the network adapters:
– PC station connected to system bus via CP 16xx communications processor.
– PC station on system bus connected via standard network adapter (only if the ISO
protocol is used on the system bus).
● All PC stations:
– Check the access point for each PC station.
Requirement
The "Set PG-PC Station" Configuration Console is open.
(Use the search box in the Start menu to open "Set PG-PC-Station")
PC station connected to system bus via CP 16xx communications processor
If the PC station on the system bus is to communicate via the CP 16xx, perform the following
steps for all CP 16xx:

If you have reinstalled the PCS 7 software on the PC station, the first two steps preceded by
"Standard" are not required.
1. "Standard": In the tree view, select "Modules > <Name of Network Adapter for
Communication with the System Bus> > General".
2. "Standard": Set the operating mode to "PG mode" for every PC network module you want
to configure.
3. In the tree view, select "Modules > <Name of Network Adapter for Communication with the
System Bus> > Address".
4. Set the addresses (either TCP/IP address or MAC address, depending on the protocol).
PC station on system bus connected via standard network adapter
If you want to use the ISO protocol on the system bus, but you do not know the MAC addresses
of the network adapters, perform the following steps for all standard network adapters:
1. In the tree view, select "Modules > <Name of Network Adapter for Communication with the
System Bus> > Address".
2. Make a note of the MAC address, which you will need when configuring the PC station.
3. Select the menu command "Change advanced sharing settings" in the Network and Sharing
Center.
The "Change sharing options for different network profiles" dialog box opens.
