Three presets, “Normal”, “High” and “Low”, are used to change the impression of the
images to have medium contrast, high contrast or low contrast, depending on the cus-
tomer’s preferences. To figure out what the customer would like, a standard operating
program can be generated, including the different settings. Play around with the first
images generated by using the ‘Reprocessing’ function during acquisition.
To view the images on the monitor of the reporting station, select the most suitable image
and ensure incorporation of such images into the programmed procedures, the presence
of an application specialist is considered necessary.
The presets “Mag/ Spot”, “Implants”, “Specimen” and “Phantom” should be used if exami-
nations of these types are performed. In case the image processing fails completely,
using ‘Reprocessing’ with the ‘safety’ setting should correct this problem.
