Holiday mode becomes active after a duration of at least one day
(1) is set. Holiday mode can be prematurely ended by setting the
number of days to 0.
If the optimized activation function is set, it is activated before the
end of the holidays (no later than 48 hours beforehand).
During the holidays, both zones are heated according to the se-
lected holiday operating mode (Eco or protection) regardless of
the current operating mode of the zones.
The mode and time buttons are inactive in holiday mode. Pressing
either of these buttons causes "OFF" to be displayed for two sec-
onds.

The room temperature setpoint values of a zone are limited with
regards to each other.
The zones are heated to the setpoint temperature associated with
the selected operating mode and/or time switch program.
Time switch for zones 1 + 2
In automatic mode, the room unit sets the zones to the Comfort or
Economy setpoint temperature according to the time switch
program.
The time switch is set separately for each zone. The weekday
(13/23) must be set first. Operating lines 14-19/24-29 can then be
used to set the switching times for the selected day. The switching
times can be set at the same time for all weekdays with weekday
selection (1-7).
Up to three heating phases or up to six switching times can be set
for each zone and day (--:-- = heating phase deactivated).

Maintenance/service
Change batteries in the QAW912/SSA955

on pages 6 and 2
Batteries are changed in the
QAW912
by following the detailed
instructions
36
. Batteries are changed in the
SSA955
by follow-
ing the detailed instructions
2
(product enclosure).
Manual adjustment of the control actuator
See Figure
37
on page 6
For service work or in the event of fault, the SSA955 can be
brought into the required position using a 3mm hexagon socket
wrench.
Antilime function
The antilime function causes the valves to open and close in the
radiator control actuators. This prevents seizure if the actuators
are not used for extended periods of time. The function is trig-
gered at 10 o'clock every Monday throughout the year.
Disposal
Dispose of the devices in the Starter Kit and the associated
partner devices as electronic scrap in compliance with
European directive 2002/96/EC (WEEE) and not together
with municipal waste. Observe all relevant national regula-
tions using correct disposal channels. Comply with local and
currently valid legislation. Dispose of discharged batteries in
compliance with relevant environmental regulations.
