Once a signal tone is emitted, the device is deleted and the func-
tion button can be released. The display changes to the first de-
vice in the device list.
A deleted device must be reset to the factory settings by
means of its function button.
Reset devices to factory settings
The room unit
QAW912
can be reset by pressing the function
button
F
for at least 20 seconds. "CLrA" is displayed during this
time
28
. This is followed by a signal tone. After restart, the room
unit changes to the information level.
The room unit is not allowed to be set to operating line 57 or
70, if it is to be reset. The device list is deleted during re-
setting and all previously bound devices must be reset to the
factory settings before binding.
The control actuator
SSA955
, the heating circuit controller
RRV912
, and the radio socket adapter
KRF960
are reset to the
factory settings by pressing function button
F
of the device for at
least 20 seconds. The device then restarts and is no longer con-
nected to the QAW912.
Settings in commissioning mode
Commissioning mode is activated and the operating lines selected
as described in
6
and
7
.
The following operating lines are only visible in commissioning
mode.
The FS column contains the factory setting. These values are
loaded when resetting the device.
Changes in the partner devices are not made immediately
because of the power-saving radio process (up to five min-
utes delay).

Activation of silent mode (33/43) for noise-sensitive zones.
Silent mode increases the actuator’s power consumption,
thus reducing battery life of the control actuators in the corre-
sponding zone.
In the case of unfavorably positioned room temperature sensors
the sensors are adjusted for each zone (34/44).
The minimum valve opening in comfort mode (35/45) serves to
prevent cold surface temperatures in zones with floor heating.

To achieve the desired room temperature at the set time, the start
and stop times are automatically adjusted to the building
dynamics (more or less set forward). The maximum values for
setting the time ahead (36/37) always apply to both zones.
During start control optimization, the room unit continuously
measures the rate of the rise in temperature for each zone
(38/39).

The "radiator heating slow" is suitable for radiator heating in
buildings with solid brickwork (heavyweight construction).
The "radiator heating fast" is suitable for radiator heating in build-
ings with light brickwork (lightweight construction).
The "floor heating slow" is suitable for floor heating in buildings
with solid brickwork and floor construction (heavyweight construc-
tion).
The "floor heating fast" is suitable for floor heating in buildings

The wiring test (60) can be used to check whether a heat gen-
erator connected by means of a KRF960/RRV912 responds to the
heating request from the QAW912 (on/off). Changes in values
take effect immediately. When ending the wiring test with the
Timer/Prog button, value "---" (= inactive) is automatically set and
the heating request is implemented again according to the valve
positions of the two zones.
A heating request is made if the valve position of a zone reaches
at least the value of operating line 61. The heating request is
stopped if the valve position in both zones drops below the value
of operating line 62,
The current status of the heating request is displayed (63).

If the same date is set in both lines, no automatic changeover to
daylight saving time takes place.
