Safety standards

Power supply

The power supply unit may be opened and repaired only by qualified staff.

Batteries

Do not open or tamper with batteries. Improper handling of batteries can be

dangerous, e.g. risk of fire. Dispose of used batteries properly.

Monitors

Monitors may be opened only by qualified staff. Alterations, particularly to high-voltage

components, or the installation of a different CRT type may result in high X-ray

emissions. Monitors modified in this way no longer conform to regulations and may not

be operated.

Electromagnetic emission (EME) characteristics

Warning

This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and if not

installed and used in accordance with the instructions manual, may cause interference

to radio communications. It has been tested pursuant to subpart J of part 15 of the

FCC Rules, which are designed to provide reasonable protection against such

interference when operated in a commercial environment. Operation of this equipment

in a residential area is likely to cause interference, in which case, the user, at his

expense, will be required to correct the interference.

This digital apparatus does not exceed the class A limits for radio noise emissions from
