Installation of SINIX operating system

Installing the SINIX operating system yourself

Refer to the installation manual [10] for information on installation.

The complete installation set for the current SINIX version or the SINIX version you

ordered is shipped with your MX300.

It comprises:

-   some  3  1 /2 ”  floppy  disks,
-   a  tape  cartridge  and
-   an  authorization  floppy  disk

If you intend to work with the preinstalled SINIX version, you will not normally need the

installation set.

You wilt have to install the operating system yourself if you want to work with an

alternative SINIX version, or if the installed operating system has been destroyed.
