NOR 
NOT OR logic operation: The output value is only 

true if all input values are false. The output value is 

false if any one of the input values or several input 

values are true. 

 

 

XOR 
EXCLUSIVE OR logic operation: The output value is 

only true if an odd number of inputs is true and all 

other inputs are false  
The XOR logic is easy to understand if there are only 

two inputs. The output is true if the two inputs are not 

simultaneously true or false. 

 

 

XNOR 
EXCLUSIVE NOT OR logic operation: The output 

value is only true if an even number of inputs is true 

and all other inputs are false  
The XNOR logic is easy to understand if there are 

only two inputs. The output is true if the two inputs 

are simultaneously true or false. 

Status indicators 

 

 

 

 

The value present at the input or the value to be 

output at the output is "true". 

 

 

The value present at the input or the value to be 

output at the output is "false".
