Operation & Maintenance Manual

LG946L Wheel Loader

parking brake switch to carry out braking, and wedge the front and back of the tire.

Start engine and let the engine run in the idle status for several minutes. Open the oil

checking plug at the side of the transmission box, the oil level is normal if there is oil

flowing but not form pressure; if there is not oil flowing, hydraulic transmission oil should

be added. The choice of the hydraulic transmission oil can be found in

CHAPTER IV

2.2 Selection of Oil, Fuel and Coolant

New Oil Replacement

Park the machine on level ground and put the

transmission lever in the

neutral

(“

”) position.

Pull the brake valve manual control handle or press

the parking brake switch to carry out braking, and

wedge the front and back of the tire.

Start the engine and run in the idle status for

several minutes. Loosen the oil drain plug on the

side of the gearbox to drain the oil, and contain it

with container.

WARNING

If the temperature of the gearbox oil is relatively high, please wear

protective clothes, and operate carefully to prevent injury.

Drain all the oil out and clean the oil on the

draining plug and the transmission box, and wear

new raw meal on the oil draining plug and

assemble it well.

Loosen the cover of oil adding port on the right

side of the frame joint position. Inject the

prescriptive hydraulic transmission oil (about

45L), and then fasten the cover of the oil adding

port.

Start the engine and run in the idle status for several minutes. Check the oil level of the

transmission box.
