12.1.3 Cleaning the bowl and the filter system
ATTENTION!
Hot surfaces! Risk of burns. Wear protective gloves, safety clothing and safety goggles!
Only clean when cooled down!
The bowl and the container must be emptied before cleaning!

Pump option: Do not pump the detergent with the pump; residues of cleaning agent and water may
remain otherwise in the pump and the tubing!
Remove the frying basket and the insert sieve
from the bowl.
Remove the basket holder (option).
Swivelling the heater
Hook handle onto the heating element and raise
the heating element.
Remove coarse and fine filter from the container.
Slide in the empty container.
Cleaning the bowl and heater
Spray caked on residues on the heating element
with diluted grill cleaner (mixing ratio: 1 part grill
cleaner to 10 parts water). Leave to soak in for
approx. 10 min.
Do not use any abrasive cleaners on the heating
element! Do not scratch the heating element!
Clean the bowl with cleaner that dissolves fat and
hot water.
Drain the cleaning solution down into the con
tainer.
Rinse clean the bowl with clear water and rub dry
with soft, fluff free cloth.
Close the drain tap - swing the lever up and latch.
CAUTION
Danger of slipping! Immediately
clean any fat splashes off the floor.
