NovaChat User’s Guide

To transfer and upload the file:

Connect a USB cable between your device and the computer.

Note:

If a message prompts you to allow access, you must tap

Allow

to proceed. For details, see “

Appendix B: Connecting Your Device to

a Computer for the First Time

”.

Give the device a moment to connect to the computer. The device

screen will display “Transfer Mode”, and the computer will display a

window with several options.

Click

Open device to view files

Locate the file by navigating to the

ChatPC

folder, and then the

log

subfolder. The filename will begin with the person’s name, followed

by the date and time.

Upload the file from the computer to the Realize Language website.

Saving Usage Data to a USB Flash Drive

Note:

This procedure applies to open system devices and dedicated

devices.
You will need a flash drive with a micro-USB connector or USB-C

connector. The Saltillo-provided USB flash drive has a micro-USB

connector or USB-C connector on one end that plugs into your device

and a USB 3.0 connector on the other end that plugs into a computer.

The drive rotates in its holder so you can plug in either connector.
