Chapter 4: Using the ROWE RCS / RC 4000/ 6000 for scanning

Switching on the ROWE RCS 4000 + 6000

The ROWE network multifunction device RCS 4000 + 6000 is
switched on via the power switch on the rear of the device.

3. Set the ON/OFF switch on the left rear of the printer to position "I"

[Fig. 111]. The switch will light.

4. The green power LED on the operator panel lights. See [Fig. 112

and also see Fig. 7].

5. The first line of the display shows "Please wait". The second line

represents the warm-up period. The warm-up phase of the printer is
completed after reaching the temperature and your system is ready
for operation. The first line of the display shows "Ready for printing".

6. The display will show "Save energy" instead of "Please wait" if the

energy-saving mode was activated and the printer would start the
warm-up phase only after the first print job has been sent. [Chapter
14 / Energy-saving mode]

7. To report the device as ready, you need to press button "Online"

[Figure 113; see also Figure 7] if the message "Offline" instead of
"Ready for printing" shows on the display.
