Chapter 3: Using the ROWE RS / RC / RCS 4000 + 6000 for copying

Format

means that you may scale an original to the standard width of
a format. You have the choice of the following format systems:

ISO
ANSI
ARCH
USER

You may select user-defined formats in menu 'User' that were
created via the software [see p. xx].

Standard formats

means that it is tried to scale the scanned original to standard
width and standard length, when you have enabled the menu
option 'Standard formats' and selected a certain format under
the menu option 'Format', e.g. with selected format ISO A0 to
841 mm x 1189 mm.

Note: When you work with the 'Standard format' function enabled,
scan a square drawing and scale it to the ISO A0 format then you
will receive a file having the dimensions of ISO A0 (841 mm x 1189
mm). However, the content of the drawing is not exactly ISO A0
since otherwise a distortion of the information would occur.

Note: The function of zooming to a format and a standard format
is only available in connection with a ROWE network printer.

Manual feed / Roll selection

You may select the manual printer feed for printout directly via the
scanner operating panel. This is how to proceed::

1. Press the "Function" button [button group G7]. The following menu will

open [Fig. 74]. Using the arrow buttons 'Up/Down' [Fig. 74], select
menu option "Roll selection" and confirm your selection via the enter
button. This will get you automatically to the next menu level. Exit the
menu by using the offline button:
