Technical specifications

Installation

Ensuring a problem-free process, the installation
and commissioning of the printer has to be carried out
through a service technician authorized by ROWE.

Java runtime environment

Prerequisite for full functionality of the ROWE application are
browser and Java runtime from following versions:

Internet Explorer from version 6 or higher
Netscape Navigator from version 7 or higher
Mozilla from version 1.2 or higher

Java runtime environment from version 1.4.2 or higher

Port monitor

The data of the print job are accepted at a network interface.
A port monitor decouples the system-related dependencies at
this interface.
The port monitor has the following tasks:

Control of the local and the network interface

Analysis of the incoming data

Print jobs (job and print data)
Configuration jobs (pin assignment, conversion

options)

Administrative jobs (repeating, deleting a job, reboot)
Make-and-take-jobs

Generation of the print job to the spooler

Provision of status information
