352 ROWE Series 4000 + 6000 Operating instructions

Cleaning the glass plate and pressure rolls

You should clean the glass plate when it is contaminated or
statically charged so as to ensure receiving high-quality copies
further. At the same time, you should clean the white pressure rolls
too.

Cleaning the glass plate and pressure rolls

1. On the operator panel, press the offline button [Fig. 555] to switch

the printer off.

[555] Stop button on the ROWE RS / ROWE RCS

2. After the network scanner has been shut down, switch it off and

isolate the device from mains.

3. Open the upper part of the scanner by depressing the release

button on the right side [Fig. 556]

4. Clean the pressure rolls and glass plate using a soft cloth soaked

with soapy water. [Fig. 557]

5. Now close the upper part of scanner again and start the device.
