8.3 General Settings
8.3.1 Remote Select
Specify the actuator remote control source. The available options are:
Digital Control: The actuator is controlled with hardwired pushbutton controls.
Analogue Control: The actuator is controlled using a 4-20mA or 0-10 Volt signal.
Option Card: The actuator is controlled using an option card over a network communication platform
(e.g. Profibus, Modbus, Pakscan, Foundation Fieldbus or DeviceNet).
Option ESD: The actuator is controlled using an option card and a hardwired ESD function.
Off: There is no remote control option for the actuator.
8.3.2 Configure Local Controls
Local controls can be configured to behave in two different ways.
Push to Run: The actuator will only move when the open or close signal is manually maintained.
Maintained: The actuator will self-maintain a fleeting open or close signal and will run until it reaches its
respective limit or a pressure trip. The user can manually stop a maintained signal using the local
controls.
8.3.3 Low Power Mode
Low power mode can be activated for particular low power consumption applications. For more
information on the functionality during low power states please contact Rotork. There are three
available options:
Off: Low Power Mode is disabled and the actuator will remain powered as normal.
On: Low Power Mode is enabled and the actuator power consumption will decrease.
Extra Low:
Extra Low Power Mode is enabled and the actuator power consumption will decrease to the
lowest setting.
8.3.4 Closed LED Colour
Set the LED colour when the actuator is at its closed limit. The open limit LED will always be the
opposite colour to this setting.
