Boiler control panel
5.1
Operating elements on the boiler control panel
Mains switch
Switching the ROTEX ESU on and off: If the heating system is switched on, the mains switch is lit up green.
If the heating system is running without malfunctions in normal operating mode, the green fill level control lamp is also lit. All other
control lamps are off.
Group malfunction lamp
In normal operating mode, the group malfunction lamp (2) is off. If a malfunction occurs, it lights up red.
Pressure gauge
– Black pointer: Indication of the current water pressure in the heating system.
– Green range: Permissible water pressure range.
– Red pointer: Indication of the permitted minimum pressure.
The black pointer must be in the green range. If it is to the left of the red pointer, the water pressure must be increased by topping
up the system (see Chapter 3.9, page 17).
Fill level warning lamp
This indicates that the storage tank is insufficiently filled, i. e. fewer than two of the three electrodes on the fill level probe are
in the water (see Chapter 2.1, page 8, pos. 38).
To ensure hot water is supplied safely and Solaris operates effectively, the unpressurised area of the storage tank must be filled
with water.
The ROTEX E-SolarUnit is controlled via the central unit on the boiler control panel, the electronic ROTEX
control system ALPHA
+
23R.
You can find a detailed description of this in Chapter 6, page 32.
