6.6.6 Automatic summer switch-off
This function only has an effect in the , and automatic programmes.
• Set the summer switch-off temperature by changing parameter [29].

Activating and deactivating hot water mode
• You activate and deactivate hot water mode manually by changing parameter [2].

If the external temperature exceeds the set summer switch-off temperature , the heating circuits will be
deactivated automatically ; i. e. the pumps are switched off, the mixer closed and the switch valve switched
to warm water.
CAUTION:
If the Legionella protection function is activated, the hot water temperature may temporarily exceed 65 °C.
• If hot water is required during the disinfection phase, it must be mixed with cold water.

23R detects a storage tank sensor on ROTEX ESU start-up, the warm water mode is
activated automatically. If a storage tank sensor is connected subsequently, the hot water function must be
activated via parameter [2].
