6.6.3 Resetting parameters to factory settings

In certain circumstances it may be necessary to reset the control to its delivery settings using the access code 
(see Chapter 6.6.4).

1.

In the "Parameter" menu, use the 

 and 

 keys to select parameter [86].

2.

Press the 

 key to confirm your selection.

3.

Use the 

 and 

 keys to select value "1".

4.

Press the 

 key to confirm your selection.

All parameters are reset to factory settings. The control system restarts.

6.6.4 Heating technician access code

Parameters only intended for use by the heating technician can be enabled for editing by entering the heating technician access 
code. The parameters concerned are listed in Table 6-7, page 43 and Table 6-8, page 44.

Entering the access code

1.

In the "Parameter" menu, use the 

 and 

 keys to select parameter [98].

2.

Press the 

 key to confirm your selection.

The display shows "0000", with the first digit flashing.

3.

Use the 

 and 

 keys to select the first number of the access code.

4.

Press the 

 key to confirm your selection.

Î

The entry is temporarily saved and the next digit begins to flash, indicating that this number can now be entered.

5.

Repeat the two input steps above until all 4 digits of the access code have been entered correctly.

If the code has been entered correctly, when the last number is confirmed the display will show "LoG". The protected 
parameter levels are now enabled for the heating technician (see Figure 6-15).

If the access code has been entered incorrectly, when the last number is confirmed the display will show "Err". Follow 
the entry procedure again from the beginning.

Info values, such as the elapsed-hour meter, are not affected by this procedure.

If no entry is made for an extended period (exit time), in the interests of security the parameters intended for the 
heating technician will be blocked once more. The decimal point of the left-hand digit on the display indicates 
whether technician values can still be accessed (point lit up) or whether they have been blocked again.

The heating technician access code must be entered again. The exit time can be set via parameter [30].
