2. The first time you log in to a newly-installed system, it displays an initial
Setup page. This is a one-time display. After you set up the initial
configuration, you can make subsequent configuration changes on the
Configuration pages of the GUI.
3. Check the entries on the Setup page.
4. If you will be using the Sensor-VE to monitor traffic from a network tap or
mirror port (such as a SPAN port on a switch or router), then select the
“Monitor and collect traffic on the Steelhead Aux port” option in the
Monitor
Interface Configuration section. Otherwise, this option should not be
selected. See the note below for additional requirements.
5. When you click Configure Now , you will be prompted to change the
password. The password you enter here must be the one you use after this
point in the procedure. Enter your new password.
