Upon ignition, the REC10CH might:
- request the setting of the time and date (see “11.1 Settings”)
- display the firmware version and require a button to be pressed in order to continue.
By pressing the “ + ” and “ - ” keys it is possible to move the selection of the functions in this
order: PLANT / STATE / SET / INFO / MENU.
By pressing the “ ENTER ” key you access the settings of the selected function (except for
PLANT
). The “ BACK ” key is inactive (except for
PLANT
).
The highlighted status is that which is currently selected.

It indicates the zone to which the data shown on the start screen refer, and the zone to which
the settings accessible via the other functions refer.
The presence of one or more zones in addition to PLANT depends upon the installa-
tion’s configuration. For this reason, one or more of the zones cited below may not be
present in your configuration, or may be identified with a different name.
In order to change zones, highlight PLANT if necessary pressing the “ + ” and “ - ” keys. Then,
pressing the “ ENTER ” and “ BACK ” keys, it will be possible to select the other zones in this
sequence:
- PLANT - MAIN ZONE - ZONE 1 - ZONE 2.
The TIME&DATE, DAYLIGHT SAVINGS TIME, LANGUAGE and BACKLIGHT settings
are independent of the selected zone. The information contained in the INFO menu is
independent of the selected zone.
No domestic hot water parameters can be set if MAIN, ZONE 1 or ZONE 2 is selected.

Note: MAIN ZONE is visible in this menu only if the zone is managed by a room thermostat.
HEAT PUMP is only visible if a heat pump is connected to the system.
8.1 Boiler
- Select STATE BOILER OFF or HOT WATER ONLY (SUMMER) or
HEATING AND HOT WATER (WINTER)
Once the selection has been validated, the display returns to the STATE screen.

8.1.1 OFF
If OFF is selected, the system shuts off. The electrical supply and the fuel supply remain active.
8.1.2 WINTER
If HEATING AND HOT WATER is selected, the system produces domestic hot water and
actives the heating function.
8.1.3 SUMMER
If HOT WATER ONLY is selected, the system produces domestic hot water and, if a heat pump
is configured, is also active the cooling function. Heating function is not active.
8.2 Main zone

Select STATE MAIN ZONE
- if the heating programming timing is not enabled: ZONE ON - ZONE OFF
- if the heating programming timing is enabled: AUTO - MANUAL - HEAT OFF.

Once the selection has been validated, the display returns to the STATE screen .
8.2.1 ON
If ON is selected, the zone requests are met.
8.2.2 AUTO
If AUTO is selected, the zone requests will be managed based on a scheduled programme.
8.2.3 MANUAL
If MANUAL is selected, the zone requests will be managed based on the setpoint set by
the user.
8.2.4 HEAT OFF
If HEAT OFF is selected, the zone requests will not be fulfilled.
NOTE : to deactivate the zone in SUMMER or in WINTER, you must select the pre-set
season (SUMMER or WINTER in the BOILER menu) and set the zone concerned to OFF.
8.3 Heat pump (if present)
By selecting HEAT PUMP it is possible to enable the NIGHT REDUCTION. This parameter
is used to reduce the noise of the heat pump by limiting the maximum operating frequency
of the compressor in the time band set by the parameters NIGHT MODE START TIME and
NIGHT MODE STOP TIME.
NIGHT MODE START TIME (if NIGHT REDUCTION is active)
This parameter is used to set the start time of the heat pump compressor frequency limitation
band when the night reduction function is enabled. Range 00:00 - 23:30 / Default 22:00.
NIGHT MODE STOP TIME (if NIGHT REDUCTION is active)
This parameter is used to set the end time of the heat pump compressor frequency limitation
band when the night reduction function is enabled. Range 00:00 - 23:30.

8.3.1 Antilegio CUT OFF (only with water tank)
This function can be interrupted in advance in two different ways:
- set the boiler to OFF
or
- select STATE DHW ANTILEGIO CUTOFF.
If the function is interrupted, it will be repeated at the same time the next day, even if weekly
programming is active.

9.1 Heating
The user can change the heating setpoint by pressing the “ + ” and “ - ” keys.
When an outdoor temperature sensor is installed, the outlet temperature is automatically
selected by the system, which quickly adjusts the ambient temperature according to the
variations in the outdoor temperature. If you want to change the temperature, raising it or
lowering it with respect to that automatically calculated by the electronic board, it is possible
to change the HEATING setpoint selecting the desired comfort level within the range (-5 ÷
+5). The user is then asked to confirm the setpoint setting: select CONFIRM or CANCEL
and confirm. Once the selection is confirmed, the display returns to the SET screen. If the
selection is cancelled or the “ BACK ” key is pressed you return to the previous SET screen.

9.2 Hot water
The user can change the domestic hot water setpoint by pressing the “ + ” and “ - ” keys.

selection is cancelled or the “ BACK ” key is pressed you return to the previous SET screen.
