EXTERIOR EQUIPMENT

ANTENNAE

Th

e electronics installed on your yacht are NEMA 2000

compatible which permits system components to share
information with other marine-network compatible
devices. Refer to your GPS/plotter owner’s manual for
further information.

Be  aware  of  the  vessel’s  bridge  clearance  specifi cations
to  avoid  equipment/vessel  damage  due  to  impacting  a
bridge  structure  since  a  great  portion  of  the  antenna/
receiving  equipment  is  mounted  on  the  hard  top.  Re-
member that the masthead light on the hardtop can be
lowered if needed.

e VHF radio uses a whip style fi berglass antenna which

is “trimmed” to provide the best output and reception.

e TV antenna mounted on the hard top is shaped liked

a saucer.
Th

e satellite weather antenna is now located under the

forward deck.
For further information on antennas refer to each ven-
dor’s owners manual.

Th

e GPS/plotter antenna is located on top of the aft hard

top. Th

e antenna includes a built-in position fi xing re-

ceiver. Th

e GPS plotter features a fi lter that compensates

for the rolling motion of your boat for clearer course
and speed information. Th

e antennae are protected by

individual plotter breakers.
