Setting the Gatekeeper Mandatory Parameters

check box. You are prompted to confirm this action. When you

disable the Gatekeeper function, all ongoing calls are disconnected and all registered
endpoints, unregistered. If you have not yet configured the Gatekeeper, there will be
no ongoing calls.

to cancel the action. If you confirmed the action, the

internal Gatekeeper is no longer active.

Setting Parameters for an External Gatekeeper

If you choose not to use the RADVision Gatekeeper that is internal to the L2W-323
Gateway, you can use the following gatekeepers:

A RADVision Gatekeeper that is internal to another RADVision Gateway or
MCU-323.

!"

A RADVision external Gateway (NGK-100)

!"

Another H.323 gatekeeper.

Any gatekeeper that is used must be informed of the services supported by network
Gateways in order to forward call requests to these Gateways. This is achieved by defining
Gateway services with the gatekeeper. The service definition procedure may vary depending
on the gatekeeper you are using.

Note: If you define the services for the gatekeeper after you finish the Gateway

configuration, remember to restart the Gateway for re-registration with the
gatekeeper.
