Preparing for Configuration

Default Folders 

Setup creates the directory  \Program Files\RADVision\RADVision OnLAN Tools

The user guide for each product you select is copied to 
Program Files\RADVision\RADVision OnLAN Tools\Product\ <Product Name>);

Each utility selected is copied to a separate folder in 
Program Files\RADVision\ RADVision OnLAN Tools\… as follows:

OnLAN Configure 323 is copied to …\Rvcfg. 

!"

The IVR Recording Utility is copied to …\Rvivr. 

!"

The Software Upload Utility is copied to …\Rvburn. 

Note:  L2W-323 Gateway version 2.0 requires OnLAN Configure 323 version 1.7 or higher.

To run Setup 

1.  Make sure Windows 95, Windows NT or Windows 98 is running and close all other 

applications. 

2.  Insert the RADVision product CD-ROM in your CD drive. After a brief wait, the 

RADVision OnLAN Tools 1.1 Setup window is displayed. 

3.  Follow the Setup prompts; click 

Next

 to continue to the following prompt. 

4.  We recommend you click 

Yes

 to read the Readme file; when finished, close the file.  

5.  To copy the product user guide 

and

 utilities, select 

L2W-323 Gateway

 (and any other 

product you want to install) and click 

Next

; alternatively, to copy utilities only, leave 

all check boxes blank and click 

Next

. 

6.  Select the destination folder and click 

Next

. 

7.  Select the Setup type (

Typical

Compact

 or 

Custom—

for information, see Setup 

Type on the previous page) and click 

Next

. If you selected Custom, select the 

components you want to copy and click

8.  Verify your selections and click 

Next

9.  When prompted, click 

Finish

 to end Setup.  

After Setup is complete, RADVision OnLAN Tools are available from the Start menu by 
clicking 

Start

 and selecting 

Programs/RADVision OnLAN Tools.

 

Note:   To install more than one version of the RADVision OnLAN Tools on the 

configuration PC, specify a different destination directory for each version you want 
to install.
