Installing optional components

36

Installing a blower

The basic configuration of the R220 supports up to four blower units. Blower units are hot-
swappable. You can install or remove them when the R220 system is operating.

shows the blower mounting locations.

To install a blower, follow these steps:

1. Open the blower carrier handle by squeezing the handle latch and rotating it downward.

2. Insert the blower carrier into the blower slot until the handle pin limits insertion.

3. Rotate the handle upwards until the handle latch locks into the carrier base.
