Connecting DC power
Connect the power wires from the R220RCPSU-DC to the DC source as follows:
•
Red wire to DC source 0
•
Black wire to DC source -48V
•
Green wire to DC source ground

Ensure power to the power feed cables is OFF before routing and connecting the
cables.
WARNING!
To reduce the risk of electrical shock or energy hazards, comply with these
precautions:
•
Make sure you have an adequate number of properly grounded electrical outlets for your
system and any other peripheral devices.
•
The unit shall be supplied by a reliably grounded SELV power supply or centralized DC source,
and shall be reliably grounded to protective earth.
•
The unit shall be installed in a restricted access area in accordance with the authority having
jurisdiction.
Power consumption
The R220 supports many configurations for I/O, storage, and computation.
