Replacing the Disk I/O Card

The transceiver can only be installed one way. Note the orientation and ensure 
you are inserting it correctly. Push the transceiver fully into the SFP cage so that 
it completely seats. The transceiver protrudes approximately 1/2-inch from the 
Disk I/O card face plate when it’s completely seated.

Remove the dust covers just prior to inserting the FC data cables. Store them in a 
safe place.

Re-connect the Fibre Channel data cables to the replacement card.

Using the packaging materials from the replacement card, repackage the failed 
card and return it per your RMA instructions.
