2. Commissioning
1.1 Technical requirements
Power supply
On the tractor, a special 12V connection
(RABE No. 9012.55.01) with the appropriate
wiring harness
(fig. 3)
must be connected
directly to the vehicle’s battery (see
appendix ‘
Commissioning
’ the seed drill).
The power supply for the whole seed drill is
furnished via the connection socket
(3/1)
.
The main switch
(3/2)
and three 20A fuses
(3/3)
are also built in to the wiring harness.
In the case of a failure, all the fuses must be
replaced.
Fuses:
Blade pin terminal 12V – 20A (3x)
(3/3)
1.2 Switching on the
controller
a)
Connect the seed drill’s 12V supply
b)
Connect the CA6 connection cable to
the operating terminal
c)
Switch on the main switch
After the controller terminal has been
connected to the machine’s job computer
(4/3)
, the
<On/Off>
button on the
terminal lights up. Press this button briefly
to switch on the computer.
When doing this, ensure that the machine
is raised, otherwise there will be an audible
warning because of incorrect working
parameters!
(The controller makes an intermittent
warning sound as soon as the machine is
brought into the working position if the
minimum speed of 0.5 km/h is not achieved.
As well as this, the fan must have attained
its minimum required rotational speed).
After switching on, the screen now appears,
showing the software version and the CAN
module detected
(fig. 5)
. After about 5
seconds the display changes to the main
function screen
”MAIN”
(fig. 6)
.
In principle, the machine is now ready for
immediate use.
The settings are now those preset by the
manufacturer – these can be recalled later
with a software reset!
