a) Travel speed display and warning
messages
The current speed of travel is displayed in
large digits. The machine operates in the
range between 0.5 km/h to 18 km/h. If
for example the actual speed falls below
the lower limit when the machine is in
working position, a downwards arrow flashes
alternately with a ‘km/h’ message
(fig. 9a)
as a warning symbol.
If the maximum speed is exceeded the
warning symbol is an upward arrow.
The maximum speed may be less than 18
km/h, depending on the seed rate and seed
type.
An audible warning also sounds.
b) Display of the tramline rhythm and
the current tramline status (fig. 9b)
The upper number displays the tramline
cycle (counter). If relaying is suppressed
(tramline stop), the symbol has a line
through it
(fig. 9c)
. The lower number
displays the selected tramline rhythm.
When tramlines are active, a checkmark is
displayed next to the switched row.
A symmetrical tramline is displayed in
this figure. For asymmetric tramlines, a
checkmark is displayed only on the left or
on the right. The motor-driven flaps of the
distributor head outlets are correspondingly
activated together or individually.
The tramline cycle is relayed by raising the
machine before the turn, i.e. if the machine
is in the rest position for more than 5
seconds, the rhythm switches forward by
one pass.
c) Fan speed display (fig. 9d)
The current speed is displayed in rpm in the
screen area
(fig. 9c)
.
d) Display of the current seed rate per
hectare (fig. 9e)
The current seed rate in kg/ha is displayed
in the screen area
(fig. 9d)
.
