On leaving the calibration procedure,
tramlines are again activated. The tramline
counter is not affected by this.
Similar to the method of selecting seed
type, the marker arrow can now be moved
to the line for TKG (1000 grain weight) and
seed rate.
It is not absolutely necessary to alter the
TKG.
Enter the desired seed rate in kg/ha when
the marker arrow is on the correct line,
and confirm with
<Enter>
. Now move the
marker arrow to ”STARTE KALIBRIERUNG”
(START CALIBRATION)
, and press
<Enter>
again.
In the display in
fig. 21
select whether to
calibrate with 0.025 ha or 1/40 ha. Because
the computer counts during calibration, it is
in fact unimportant which calibration area is
used.
Using arrow keys (
<S4>, S5>
), the 1/100
ha or 1/40 ha can be varied upwards or
downwards in steps. A modification can also
be made via the numerical pad.
Rule: the larger the calibration area, the
smaller the error.
Press
<Enter>
to accept the value.
If the
<Enter>
key is pressed again, the
following message (
fig. 22
) is displayed.
The metering wheels should now be full, and
the correct metering wheel setting should be
selected.
For machines with two metering wheels,
take care that calibration is always carried
out using both metering devices.
Attach a bucket with a known weight.
When everything is ready, press the
<Enter>
key.
During the calibration procedure, the
progress in area and the number of
metering wheel revolutions are displayed on
the screen.
While a calibration is in progress, it can be
interrupted at any time by pressing one of
the
STOP
keys
<S1 – S5>
.
