3.5.2 Hectare counter (total
and partial area)
Two independent area counters are active in
the background during sowing. The current
display (total or partial area) is displayed in
black on the softkey symbol.
‘Part’ indicates a partial area (e.g. since the
start of the day). ‘TOT’ indicates the total
drilled area. Change between displays using
the
<S1>
key
(fig. 33)
.
To set the current counter to zero, press the
RESET
key
<S5>
. For the ‘PART’ display,
for example the following question appears
(see
fig 33
).
Press ‘
YES’ (<S4>)
to set both area and
quantity to 0, and to set the time and date
to the current value. If
NO (<S5>)
is
pressed, the values remain unchanged.
The display changes automatically to the
previous INFO screen.
3.5.3 GRAND
Use the GRAND key (
<S3>
) to display the
overall working time of the machine. This
data cannot be deleted.
Information for advanced users
The functions described so far give the user
a simple, secure, and satisfactory method
for controlling the machine using the
ARTEMIS II seed drill controller from RABE.
There is however a further range of useful
functions which make the use of the
controller even more flexible, and which
enable optimal sowing by adjusting to the
seed type and to sowing conditions.
In the parameter menu screens, the
menu options may be selected by
entering the option number from the
keypad instead of via the softkey
arrows and <Enter>.
