In the examples shown, GoVault is attached as Device 1 and the
Transfer Mode is PIA Only.

To change the transfer mode, select
DMA if available
from the
Transfer
Mode
list box (see
figure 43
).

OK
to close the
IDE Channel Properties
dialog.

To implement the change:

Save and close your open files and terminate all running
applications.

Restart the workstation or server system.

When the system restarts, verify that DMA is configured as the
GoVault transfer mode (see
figure 44
) as follows:
