either an Intel or an Intel-compliant ICH5, ICH6, or ICH7 I/O
Controller Hub. In this case, PIO is configured as the data transfer
mode, and you should use the procedure in
Changing the Transfer
Mode
to configure high-speed DMA mode for your GoVault data
transfer operations. Do not close the
Device Manager
window.
Changing the Transfer Mode
If the procedure in
Determining Your Motherboard Configuration
indicated that PIO is the GoVault data transfer mode, change it to DMA
mode as follows:

Right-click
QUANTUM GoVault
in the
Device Manager
window and
select
Properties
to display the
QUANTUM GoVault Properties
dialog
