Set Delay
In this submenu item the delay time is adjusted according to the scale which has been set in
Select Display
.
The display readout is the same as in
Select Display
, except for the fact that an arrow
appears after the colon and a cursor becomes visible.

Turning the pulsar ( , ) adjusts the delayline according to the previously determined scale

The size of each graduation on the chosen scale, i.e.
of the modification made with each turn of the pulsar, depends on the current scale, sample rate,
cursor position.
The value selected can be increased to the point where one further step would overload the system
resources. The range of values open to selection is of course also restricted by the user’s choice of
units and by the current sample rate.
It can be reduced until the value
0
is displayed above the cursor.
EXIT restores the formerly selected value, and returns the user to the submenu item

ENTER saves any modification made, and also returns the user to the submenu item

Display
.
TOGGLE moves the cursor one position to the right. If the cursor is already positioned on the
extreme right, it springs back to the first position on the left.
The higher value positions to the left of the cursor are modified, the lower value positions to the
right of the cursor retain the last value set.
