Message Reception Protocol (TX Parameter: var.)

Byte 0:

target address

Byte 1:

extended address. This byte must always be transmitted, even
where the extended address is not used.

Byte 2:

bit 0/1:

message priority (0-3, 3 is the highest priority)

bit 2-4:

unused (set to 0)

bit 5:

0 = extended address is not used.
1 = extended address is used.

bit 6-7:

unused (set to 0)

Byte 3:

bit 0-2:

repeat packet (0-5)

bit 3-7:

unused (set to 0)

Byte 4/5:

length of the message in bytes (byte 6 – byte n, LSB first)

Byte 6:

first byte of the message

Byte n:

last byte of the message

Byte n+1:

Example 2:

data received: 0x05 0x01 0x21 0x02 0x03 0x00 0x12 0x34 0x56

The address is 0x05. The extended address is used, it is 0x01. The message has the priority level 1.
Each of the packets is repeated twice, i.e. each packet is sent three times. The message (0x12 0x34
0x56) is 3 bytes long.

Example 3:

data received: 0x05 0xFF 0x01 0x02 0x03 0x00 0x12 0x34 0x56

The address is 0x05. The extended address is not used, the byte 0xFF is ignored. The message has
the priority level 1. The message (0x12 0x34 0x56) is 3 bytes long.
