Hands On

Modifying the VCO idle frequency may be necessary when using sample rates outside of the
normal range of 28 to 54 kHz.

Adjusting the SMD capacitor trimmer C24 on the 50-1200-0006 module, using a screwdriver, shifts
the VCO idle frequency. To some extent this process is influenced by temperature.

It is quite easy to monitor what is happening, as the displayed VCO frequency is constantly
updated.

To adjust the VCO, it is necessary to power the device while the casing is open. All input and
output signals must be disconnected.

All other ZOMBIE functions are ineffective while this submenu item is active.

CAUTION

Adjusting the sample clock VCO is restricted to trained staff only, as the device is
powered without protective enclosure. The circuits carrying possibly lethal mains
voltage are not protected against accidental touching.
